We were supposed to attend the temple for the first time as a married couple yesterday, but my fear of not making it through without asking someone to “show me to the potty” due to the UTI prevented us from getting there this week. Thinking about writing this post got me looking at flickr photos of temples, and there are so many beautiful photos of temples floating around the internet.
I think I would like to start posting on a more spiritual note on Sundays. My beliefs make up who I am, and if this blog is truly an attempt to share my life with others, it’s an essential component that can’t be left out.
There is no denying that the latest attacks on the church are fueling this desire as well. I’m 23 years old, newly married, living in Texas. I don’t drink, smoke, lie, swear, cheat or steal. I have a desire to serve in the community, I want to make a difference in the lives of others, I want to raise good, morally-concious children and transfer this desire for good on to them as well. I want to graduate from college, learn to take better pictures, learn to cook and bake like a superstar, live in a real house someday.
I, and others of my faith, are not bad people, and I hope that if you continue reading, you will be reminded of that.
Today is Sunday. A day for me to rest, relax, and recharge. I hope you will take time to do the same.
